This is the famous and original Leaf Mold Compost. The name Leaf Mold comes from the old English word “Leaf Mould” which means produced by a very slow breakdown of leaves (from trees and shrubs) into rich humus. Many horticulturalists widely recognize this compost as the best compost available, and it has repeatedly proven itself for over 30 years.
This product is rich in beneficial microbes, which promote healthy soil that is naturally resistant to pests and disease.
The Fine is great for use in potting mixes and top-dressing lawns. The Coarse is ideal for use in vegetable gardens, flower beds, or under new turf grasses.
